Proposes a constitutional amendment to change how Missouri Supreme Court and Court of Appeals judges are selected, shifting from the nonpartisan judicial commission system (Missouri Plan) to direct gubernatorial appointment with Senate confirmation

Reduces term lengths for Supreme Court and Court of Appeals judges from 12 years to 7 years

Eliminates the Appellate Judicial Commission, which currently nominates candidates for appellate court vacancies; retains the nonpartisan commission system only for circuit and associate circuit judges in St. Louis City and Jackson County

Current appellate judges in office as of January 1, 2027, would complete their existing terms before the new appointment process applies

Would be submitted to Missouri voters at the November 2026 general election or a special election called by the governor
