Proposes a constitutional amendment to be placed on the November 2026 general election ballot or a special election called by the governor

Establishes a maximum of 8 years of service in any single house of the General Assembly (House or Senate)

Creates an overall lifetime limit of 16 years total service across both houses of the General Assembly combined

Beginning December 3, 2026, all prior legislative service will count toward the 16-year combined limit, unlike current law which only counts service after December 3, 1992

Excludes partial terms of less than one year (House) or two years (Senate) served to complete another person's term from counting toward limits
