Prohibits transportation or translocation of live wild hogs within Mississippi by any means, whether trapped or legally captured in Mississippi or elsewhere, unless authorized by a permit issued by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Allows the commission to charge a reasonable fee for permits to transport live wild hogs.

Establishes violations of the transportation prohibition as a Class II violation, punishable under Section 49-7-143.

Maintains existing prohibition on catching or trapping wild hogs and releasing them at a different location than where captured.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
