Amends Section 65-3-97 of the Mississippi Code to add a highway segment along Mississippi 7 (from its intersection with U.S. 82 northeasterly to Mississippi 8 near Holcomb) and Mississippi 7/Mississippi 8 (easterly to I-55) to the four-lane highway construction program in LeFlore, Carroll, and Grenada counties.

Places the newly added Mississippi 7 and 7/8 segments in the priority group designated in subsection (4) of the statute, making them eligible for contract letting after completion of higher-priority segments or concurrently if funds are available.

The segments must be constructed as four-lane highways with not less than two lanes for traffic flowing in each direction, following current construction standards and utilizing existing roadways when feasible.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
