Exempts sales of handguns, rifles, shotguns, and ammunition from Mississippi sales tax during "Second Amendment Weekend," defined as 12:01 a.m. on the Friday before Labor Day through 12:00 midnight the following Saturday.

Amends Section 27-65-111 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to add this exemption to the list of sales tax exemptions.

Establishes that the exemption applies only to firearms and ammunition sold during the specified weekend period; sales outside this period remain subject to sales tax.

Effective July 1, 2010.
