Requires pharmacists to indicate the number of continuing education hours earned on the annual license renewal application form.

Mandates one (1) continuing education unit consisting of ten (10) clock hours for each annual licensure period beginning January 1, 2010, and all subsequent periods.

Maintains annual renewal fees not to exceed $100.00, with an optional surcharge of up to $5.00 to fund impaired pharmacist assistance programs.

Allows pharmacists who default on license renewal to reinstate within two (2) years by paying back renewal fees and providing evidence of required continuing education; defaults exceeding two (2) years require retaking the board examination or competency review.

Effective July 1, 2010.
