Authorizes counties and municipalities to receive an additional round of fire trucks under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program, increasing maximum assistance to $580,000 per county for up to ten fire trucks (six trucks at $50,000 maximum each and four trucks at $70,000 maximum each).

Establishes a tiered eligibility system where counties that have previously received fire trucks remain eligible for additional trucks, with decreasing numbers of available trucks as prior allocations increase, up to a maximum of one truck for counties that have already received nine trucks.

Changes the voting requirement for fire protection district boards to reduce district boundaries when a municipality annexes territory within the district from a unanimous vote to a majority vote.

Requires counties and municipalities to pledge matching funds equal to at least one-tenth of the requested assistance amount, to be set aside annually over a period not exceeding ten years.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
