Amends Section 71-3-51 of the Mississippi Code to allow employees to appeal interlocutory orders from the Workers' Compensation Commission that deny medical benefits to circuit court.

Permits interlocutory appeals to proceed concurrently with the same controversy's continued proceedings before the commission, rather than requiring completion of commission proceedings first.

Modifies existing language to clarify that controversies may be heard by the commission while matters are pending in court "except where otherwise provided by law," establishing a statutory exception to the general rule.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
