Appropriates $16,785,326.00 from the State General Fund for salaries, travel expenses, and office costs of district attorneys and assistant district attorneys for fiscal year 2011 (July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011).

Appropriates an additional $546,750.00 from the State Prosecutor Compensation Fund for assistant district attorney salaries as authorized by Mississippi Code Section 25-31-5(1).

Allocates funds specifically: $15,710,159.00 for salaries, $432,305.00 for travel expenses, $19,612.00 for tort claims assessment, and $1,170,000.00 for district attorney office expenses.

Prohibits reimbursement of taxable meals incurred within district attorneys' geographical districts and funds one full-time legal assistant position in the Sixth Circuit Court District.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
