Exempts buses and other motor vehicles owned and operated by entities contracted with school boards for student transportation from ad valorem taxation on contracts entered into or renewed on or after July 1, 2010.

Provides partial gasoline, special fuel, and compressed gas tax exemptions for sales of these fuels to student transportation contractors for use in exempt buses and motor vehicles.

Exempts retail sales of buses, motor vehicles, and parts and labor for maintenance and repair of these vehicles when sold to student transportation contractors for school transportation purposes on contracts entered into or renewed on or after July 1, 2010.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
