Extends the repeal date for Mississippi Code sections 41-58-1, 41-58-3, and 41-58-5 from July 1, 2010, to July 1, 2013.

Maintains registration requirements for radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, and radiation therapists, with an annual registration fee not to exceed $25.

Requires registered medical radiation technologists to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years; exempts certain individuals (dental hygienists, chiropractic and medical office personnel, and hospital employees) but requires them to complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years with at least 6 hours in radiologic protection.

Establishes a 10-member Medical Radiation Advisory Council to advise the Mississippi State Department of Health on regulations and standards for medical radiation technology practices.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
