• County tax collectors retain $2.00 per tag application, deposit remainder to State Tax Commission, which distributes fees monthly as follows: $32.50 to Mississippi College School of Law, $1.00 each to Mississippi Burn Care Fund and Section 27-19-44.2 special fund, and remainder to State Highway Fund

• Replacement distinctive tags cost $10.00, with tax collectors retaining 5% for county general fund and remainder distributed like regular tag fees

• Effective July 1, 2010
