Amends Section 9-13-19 of Mississippi Code to require additional compensation paid to court reporters for performing court administrator duties to be paid from remaining funds in a judge's support staff allowance before county funds are expended.

Court reporters for circuit and chancery courts receive annual salaries up to $40,500 (5 years experience or less), $43,500 (5-10 years experience), or $46,000 (10+ years experience), paid by the Administrative Office of Courts.

Court reporters may receive additional compensation for performing court administrator duties in their judicial district, with the amount set by vote of judges and chancellors and submitted to the Administrative Office of Courts for approval.

Counties transfer proportionate amounts from their treasuries to the Administrative Office of Courts based on the number of weeks court is held in each county relative to total district court weeks.

Salaries and additional compensation are paid in 12 monthly installments on the last working day of each month, with counties transferring their share by the twentieth day of each month.
