Expands the definition of "employee" under Mississippi's Education Employment Procedures Law to include assistant teachers who have worked continuously for a school district for two years and hold required State Department of Education credentials

Requires school districts to provide assistant teachers with written notice of nonreemployment by April 15 (or within 10 days after the education budget is approved, whichever is later), the same deadline that applies to licensed teachers and administrators

Previously, only licensed teachers, principals, superintendents, and other professional personnel requiring state licensure were covered by the employment protection procedures in Sections 37-9-101 through 37-9-113
