Amends Mississippi Code Section 37-7-307 to include licensed school nurses employed by school districts in the definition of "licensed employee" for purposes of sick, personal, and professional leave policies.

Grants licensed school nurses the same minimum leave allowances as teachers and other licensed employees: 7 days of sick leave per school year, 2 days of personal leave per school year, and professional leave for required state board meetings and educational functions.

Allows unused sick leave to accumulate without limit and carry over to subsequent years, and permits up to 5 days of personal leave to carry over annually if the employee remains in the same school district.

Establishes that upon retirement, licensed employees including school nurses may be paid for up to 30 days of unused accumulated leave at the substitute teacher rate.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
