Requires all health insurance policies, service contracts, and managed care plans delivered in Mississippi on or after July 1, 2010, to cover colorectal cancer screening examinations and laboratory tests as specified in current American Cancer Society guidelines.

Coverage applies to individuals age 50 and older, and those under 50 who are at high risk for colorectal cancer according to American Cancer Society guidelines.

Prohibits insurers from imposing deductibles or coinsurance for colorectal cancer screening that exceed those for similar benefits, and requires reimbursement rates to providers equal to or greater than Medicare rates.

Allows insurers to require use of in-network providers when available and accessible; if an out-of-network provider is referred, services must be provided at no additional cost to the individual beyond standard in-network costs.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
