Requires all Workers' Compensation Commission members appointed after July 1, 2010, to be attorneys at law with a minimum of five years' active practice in Mississippi.

Allows commission members serving on July 1, 2010, to continue serving until their terms expire and permits them to be reappointed regardless of attorney status.

Maintains the commission structure of three members appointed by the Governor with Senate consent, serving staggered six-year terms after initial appointments.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
