Amends Section 43-21-151 to require public school employees charged with notifying youth court of student expulsions to provide notice, with violation constituting a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1,000.

Amends Section 37-9-14 to add superintendent duties requiring written notification to parents/guardians, youth court, and local law enforcement of any student expulsion for criminal activity as defined in Section 37-11-29.

Makes school employees who fail to notify youth court of expulsions subject to misdemeanor penalties as prescribed in Section 43-21-151.

Requires superintendents to notify youth court and law enforcement by affidavit of any crimes committed by students on school property or during school-related activities, regardless of student identity.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
