Amends Section 11-51-85 of Mississippi Code to revise bond requirements for civil appeals from justice court to circuit court

Sets appeal bond at 125% of the judgment amount or 125% of the property value involved, plus all accrued and anticipated costs

Maintains minimum bond requirement of $100.00 for all civil appeals from justice court

Defendants unable to afford bond due to poverty may still appeal by filing an affidavit, though the appeal will not stay execution of the judgment

Effective date of July 1, 2010
