Amends Section 97-37-7 of Mississippi Code to authorize investigators employed by the Real Estate Commission to carry weapons while performing their duties.

Investigators must complete a weapons training course approved by the Board of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training before being authorized to carry weapons.

Adds Real Estate Commission investigators to the list of persons exempt from weapons restrictions, alongside other authorized officials such as law enforcement officers, district attorney investigators, and state auditors.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
