Amends Mississippi Code to expand the Comprehensive School Health Education Program to include six components: health education and healthy living, health service, physical education and fitness, healthful school environment, drug and alcohol education, and conflict resolution.

Requires local school boards to adopt plans for implementing the Comprehensive School Health Education Program into their school curricula.

Mandates public school nurses provide instruction in each component of the Comprehensive School Health Education Program as part of their responsibilities.

Requires the Office of Healthy Schools to submit policy recommendations to the State Board of Education for adoption of rules and regulations related to the program.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
