Amends Section 27-7-18 of the Mississippi Code to add a fuel cost deduction as an adjustment to gross income for tax years 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Allows married couples filing joint or combined returns a $1,000 fuel cost deduction for each of the three eligible tax years.

Allows single individuals a $500 fuel cost deduction for each of the three eligible tax years.

Takes effect January 1, 2010.
