Mississippi Department of Transportation shall conduct a feasibility study for constructing a bypass on and along U.S. Highway 72 around Corinth, Mississippi.

Study must include analysis of existing and projected traffic counts, construction and improvement costs, and economic impact on Corinth-area businesses, industry, and tourism.

MDOT shall include any other relevant information and data in the study deemed necessary by the department.

Department must file findings and recommendations report to the Secretary of the Senate, Clerk of the House, and respective chairs of the Senate Highways and Transportation Committee and House Transportation Committee by January 5, 2011.

Act takes effect July 1, 2010.
