Requires local school boards to include an instructional lesson on the evolution of humanity in high school biology curriculum, taught at the beginning of the biology course, beginning with the 2010-2011 school year.

Mandates the curriculum be based on relevant evidentiary facts and scientific data on evolution without bias through selective instruction.

Requires educational materials to provide proportionately equal instruction presenting scientifically sound arguments from both supporters and opponents of the theory of evolution.

Amends Mississippi Code Section 37-11-63 to specify that any discussion of human evolution must be delivered by a biology teacher.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
