Amends Section 75-24-5 of the Mississippi Code to clarify that actions under consumer protection laws may be brought under Sections 75-24-9, 75-24-11, and any other provision allowed by law.

Prohibits unfair methods of competition and deceptive trade practices including misrepresentation of goods/services, false advertising, bait-and-switch tactics, and disparagement by false representation.

Prohibits health care professionals from advertising without specifically describing their license or qualifications.

Prohibits insurers from charging increased premiums for motor vehicle insurance to military service members or dependents if their policy was canceled solely due to out-of-state transfer while on active duty; requires such persons to be considered as having maintained continuous coverage.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
