Increases minimum prison sentence for DUI manslaughter and maiming from unspecified to 10 years, with maximum of 25 years per offense.

Applies to persons who negligently cause death or permanent disfigurement while operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Allows consecutive or concurrent sentencing for multiple convictions at the court's discretion.

Requires bail be posted before release after arrest for DUI causing death.

Effective upon passage.
