Amends Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to establish Medicaid eligibility for children under 18 years old in foster care for whom the Department of Human Services has custody and financial responsibility.

Children in foster care certified by the Mississippi Department of Human Services shall be certified Medicaid eligible by the Division of Medicaid until their twenty-first birthday.

Expands upon existing language that previously only specified Medicaid eligibility for children 18 years and older in state custody to now include children under 18 years old.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
