Amends Section 97-37-7 of the Mississippi Code to authorize all prosecutors to carry concealed weapons while performing their duties.

Requires prosecutors to complete a weapons training course approved by the Board of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training before carrying a weapon.

Extends concealed carry authorization to criminal investigators employed by district attorneys, who must comply with Section 45-6-11 or an FBI training program.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
