Removes the requirement that applicants for reinstatement of an expired funeral service or funeral directing license must pass an examination if the license expired more than five years ago.

Caps the maximum total amount of all fees required for license reinstatement at $500, regardless of how long the license has been expired.

Allows the State Board of Funeral Service to reinstate expired licenses when applicants pay the current renewal fee, all arrears fees, and a reinstatement fee.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
