Creates the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act to establish clear rules for determining which state has jurisdiction over guardianship and conservatorship cases for adults

Establishes "home state" jurisdiction based on where the respondent was physically present for at least 6 consecutive months before filing, with secondary jurisdiction for states with "significant connections" to the person

Allows courts in different states to communicate and cooperate on guardianship proceedings, including holding evidentiary hearings, ordering evaluations, and sharing records and testimony across state lines

Provides procedures for transferring existing guardianships or conservatorships between states, requiring provisional orders from both the sending and receiving courts before finalizing the transfer

Permits guardians or conservators appointed in other states to register their orders in Mississippi as foreign judgments, enabling them to exercise their authorized powers within the state without obtaining a new appointment
