Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-11-30 to explicitly prohibit courts from accepting plea bargains that reduce sentences or suspensions for second, third, or subsequent DUI offenses committed within a 5-year period

Second DUI offense penalties include fines of $600-$1,500, imprisonment of 5 days to 1 year, community service of 10 days to 1 year, and 2-year license suspension

Third or subsequent DUI offenses within 5 years are classified as felonies with fines of $2,000-$5,000, imprisonment of 1-5 years, vehicle seizure and potential forfeiture, and 5-year license suspension

Prosecutors are prohibited from offering sentence reductions or suspension reductions as part of plea agreements for repeat DUI offenders

Effective date of July 1, 2010
