Prohibits adults over 21 from allowing a party at a private residence or private premises to continue if a minor obtains, possesses, or consumes alcoholic beverages, light wine, or beer and the adult knows or reasonably should know about it.

Violation is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $1,000 or up to 90 days in county jail, or both.

Exempts legally protected religious activities, family gatherings, and activities covered under Section 67-3-54.

Amends Section 67-3-70 to clarify that the separate penalties for purchasing or providing alcohol to minors do not apply to violations of this new statute.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
