Enacts the Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act, allowing parties to request issuance of subpoenas in Mississippi by submitting a foreign subpoena to a clerk of court in the county where discovery is sought.

Requires Mississippi clerks of court to promptly issue subpoenas incorporating the terms of foreign subpoenas, including contact information for all counsel and unrepresented parties.

Applies Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 45 and Uniform Rules of Circuit and County Court Practice 2.01 to subpoenas issued under this act for service and enforcement.

Allows applications to quash, modify, or enforce subpoenas through Mississippi courts in the county where discovery is to be conducted, subject to state rules and statutes.

Effective July 1, 2010, and applies to requests for discovery in cases pending on that date.
