Commends and congratulates Stephen Wahl of Ridgeland, Mississippi, a Jackson Academy student, for receiving the 2010 Siemens Award for Advanced Placement in Math, Science and Technology for Mississippi.

Recognizes the Siemens Foundation's commitment to education, which provides over $7 million annually in support of science, technology, engineering, and math initiatives through multiple signature programs.

Notes that the Siemens Foundation, established in 1998, has been a national leader in honoring excellence among students, teachers, and high schools in STEM fields from grade school through graduate school.

Acknowledges Siemens' significant presence in Mississippi with four locations and over 400 employees, and recognizes the business community's role in addressing educational challenges in math and science proficiency.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Stephen Wahl and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
