St. Stanislaus Rock-A-Chaws defeated Lafayette County 35-16 on December 5, 2009, to win the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 4A State Championship at Jackson's Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Team finished the 2009 season with a 14-1 record, also winning the District 8 Class 4A Championship and South State Championship.

Quarterback Dylan Favre (nephew of Brett Favre) passed for 5,589 yards and 63 touchdowns while rushing for 1,234 yards and 18 touchdowns, surpassing the state record of 54 total touchdowns by 37.

Receiver Krisjon Wilkerson held state records in career TD receptions, touchdowns, and receiving yards entering the championship game.

Concurrent resolution commends Head Coach Forrest Williams, the coaching staff, and student-athletes for bringing honor to St. Stanislaus, their community, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
