Recognizes that Mississippi ranks last (50th) or near-last in numerous economic and social indicators, including per capita income, poverty rate, unemployment, education scores, health outcomes, and technology access.

Declares that reducing poverty is the most important priority in improving the state's economic and social rankings.

Calls for coordinated and collaborative efforts among all state agencies, public entities, and private entities to address these rankings and help eradicate poverty in Mississippi.

Directs copies of the resolution to be distributed to heads of all state agencies, major public and private entities, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
