Acknowledges his prior service including municipal court judge, City Attorney for Port Gibson, and first African-American board attorney for Warren County (2005).

Highlights his involvement with numerous civic organizations and boards including the Mississippi Democratic Party, Boys and Girls Club of Vicksburg, United Way, and Cities of Service Coalition.
