Commends the Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., on its 2010 Founders Day Luncheon held on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Rainbow Arena with the theme "Empowering Women to Make a Difference."

Welcomes Dr. Paulette C. Walker, National First Vice President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., to Mississippi as keynote speaker for the event.

Recognizes Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., founded January 13, 1913, as a public service organization with over 60 chapters throughout Mississippi dedicated to empowering the underserved.

Acknowledges the organization's participation in the "Don't Be Counted Out" campaign in partnership with the United States Census Bureau and their "Delta Day at the Capitol" event on March 4, 2010.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to the Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter, Dr. Paulette Walker, and the Capitol Press Corps.
