Recognizes and commends the Southeastern Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for executing the 78th Southeastern Regional Conference held in Jackson, Mississippi, March 11-14, 2010.

Honors Regional Director Dr. Juanita Sims Doty for her four-year administration, during which the Southeastern Region contributed over $400,000 to historically black colleges and universities and engaged in community service initiatives.

Acknowledges the Southeastern Region's membership of approximately 27,000 members across Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, representing more than 11% of the sorority's total membership.

Highlights the conference's focus on "Embracing, Securing and Protecting Our Children's Health and Community" through an advocacy day, legislative prayer breakfast, and health fair in partnership with the National Institutes of Health.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Dr. Doty, International President Dr. Barbara A. McKinzie, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
