Commends the life, legacy, and service of Ms. Fannie B. McConnell Clayton (born October 21, 1908, in Porterville, Mississippi) upon her passing.

Recognizes Ms. Clayton's 43-year career as an educator at Keys Chapel School, Porterville High School, and Kemper Elementary School in DeKalb, Mississippi, where she influenced countless students.

Honors her compassion and support for children and senior citizens in her community, both emotionally and financially.

Acknowledges her active involvement in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Order of the Eastern Star in pursuit of social change.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Ms. Clayton's family and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
