House commends and congratulates cross country and track and field coach Billy Lamb for his 41 years of coaching at various schools including Mississippi College and Madison Central High School.

Coach Lamb produced 22 All-Americans during 17 years at Mississippi College and led Madison Central High School to 12 district cross country championships, two girls track state championships (2007, 2008), and boys cross country runner-up finishes (2006, 2007).

Named 2007 Southeastern Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations and served as former Chairman of the South Development Committee for the USA Track and Field Pole Vault Committee.

Built the Choctaw Trails cross country course at Mississippi College and established a youth running club at Madison Middle School where he teaches physical education.

Copies of the resolution are directed to be furnished to Madison Central High School, Coach Lamb, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
