Notes her graduation from Campbell College (later Jackson State University) with a bachelor's degree in education and her active membership in Cade Chapel Baptist Church.

Expresses deepest sympathy to her surviving family, including her husband of 57 years Earl C. Dampeer, Sr., four sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
