Amends Mississippi Code Section 95-9-1 to expand the definition of "qualified volunteer" to explicitly include the donation of food as a charitable service.

Adds "food service organization for the needy" to the list of "volunteer agencies" eligible for tort liability exemptions under the volunteer charitable activity statute.

Maintains existing protections that qualified volunteers are not liable for civil damages from acts or omissions committed in good faith, with exceptions for intentional, willful, wanton, reckless, or grossly negligent conduct.

Maintains existing exception that qualified volunteers can still be held liable for negligent operation of motor vehicles, aircraft, boats, or other powered conveyances.

Effective July 1, 2010.
