Extends the repeal date of Section 77-15-1, Mississippi Code of 1972 from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2014, maintaining the statute creating the Board of Directors for the Chickasawhay Natural Gas District.

Continues the board composition of mayors from municipalities and system-user representatives from counties, with chairperson receiving $250 monthly and other members receiving $200 monthly compensation.

Maintains election procedures for board members including candidate petition requirements of 25 system-user signatures, voting by personal attendance at district offices or by proxy, and certification of results by a certified public accountant.

Preserves the requirement that the Board of Directors discontinue revenue distribution to municipalities within the district, effective July 1, 2004.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
