Increases statewide privilege taxes for insurance adjusters from $100 to $100 for individuals and from an unspecified amount to $400 for incorporated companies, firms, or associations.

Makes privilege licenses effective on the date of issuance rather than on a delayed effective date.

Excludes multi-peril crop insurance (MPCI) adjusters from the definition of "adjuster" under Mississippi insurance law.

Revises continuing education requirements for insurance adjusters and public adjusters to 12 hours for licenses in effect 18 months or less, and 24 hours (including 3 hours on ethics) for licenses in effect more than 18 months.

Changes license expiration periods for individual adjusters and public adjusters to align with the licensee's birthday in the second year following issuance or renewal, with a minimum term of 13 months.
