Amends Section 97-19-75 of Mississippi Code to revise the service charge for deferral of prosecution under the bad check law.

Increases the service charge for non-casino checks from an unspecified amount to $65.00 when an accused voluntarily surrenders and enters into deferred prosecution.

Maintains tiered service charges for casino markers based on check amount, ranging from $40.00 for checks of $100 or less to 10% of face value for checks exceeding $10,000.

Restitution to complainants remains the face amount of the check plus a $30.00 service charge.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
