Increases first-offense trespass fine from an unspecified amount to $500.00 for knowingly entering another's land without permission.

Increases second or subsequent offense (within 5 years) fine to $1,000.00 and adds jail time of 10-30 days for trespass violations.

Makes hunting, shooting, trapping, or trespassing on another's land unlawful without written permission or accompaniment by the landowner or lessee.

Establishes that hunting trespass violations are punishable under the same penalties as general trespass violations in Section 97-17-93.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
