Adds new definition of "funeral procession" to the Mississippi Tort Claims Act as an array of motor vehicles led by a state or local law enforcement vehicle operating headlights or a vehicle displaying funeral home insignia.

Extends immunity from tort liability to law enforcement officers who are on-duty or off-duty while directing or escorting a funeral procession, providing the same protections as officers performing official police duties.

Limits liability for funeral escort officers to cases where they act in reckless disregard of public safety, matching the standard applied to police and fire protection activities.

Updates definitions section (11-46-1) of the Tort Claims Act with new subsections lettered (g) through (l) to include the funeral procession definition and reorganize existing definitions.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
