Removes the requirement that applicants for reinstatement of a funeral service or funeral directing license more than five years after expiration must pass an examination by the State Board of Funeral Service.

Caps the maximum total amount of all fees required for license reinstatement at $500, regardless of how long the license has been expired.

Requires reinstatement applicants to pay the current year renewal fee, all renewal fees in arrears, and a reinstatement fee, but the combined total cannot exceed $500.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
