Amends Section 49-23-5 of the Mississippi Code to allow on-premise business signs to be located up to 600 feet from the building where the business activity is conducted, rather than being restricted to the immediate property.

Maintains the existing 660-foot restriction from the right-of-way for outdoor advertising visible from state-controlled routes, with limited exceptions for directional signs, property sale/lease signs, and business activity signs.

Preserves exemptions for signs in industrially or commercially zoned areas, unzoned commercial/industrial areas, and utility/pipeline markers.

Retains prohibition on outdoor advertising along scenic byways and sexually explicit signage as defined in local ordinances.

Takes effect upon passage.
